Henry David Rosenberg (b. 1997, New York, NY) is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York. He earned his B.A. in Art History & Visual Culture from Denison University and his MFA in Printmaking from Tyler School of Art and Temple Rome. Rosenberg’s work explores the absurdity, tragedy, and humor of the modern world. He constructs and re-examines narratives that investigate notions of morality, as well as individual and collective behavior, drawing on both personal and public memory to reflect on contemporary life.

A recurring motif in Rosenberg’s practice is the exploration of professional sports and their historical, cultural, and political significance. He is particularly interested in baseball and Italian soccer, examining the enduring political, regional, and cultural identities embedded within teams and their fan bases. His work considers how affiliation with a fan base can shape individual identity, behavior, political beliefs, and worldview. This inquiry reflects a broader fascination with the psychological dynamics of individual and group behavior—dynamics rooted in games that are at once entertaining and joyous, yet often marked by undertones of hatred and violence.
